Recovery Restorative

At the end of this Oktoberfest season, join Lizzie Lasater for an afternoon of recovery. 

Using the wisdom of Restorative yoga, we will practice a quiet sequence designed to feed your organs and build your blood. This means some gentle Asana followed by deep Restorative and simple pranayama work.

Menstruation, Fertility, Menopause - women’s bodies vibrate to ancient rhythms. But the ceaseless stress of our modern lives disrupt the natural rhythm of these cycles. Where external intervention and drugs are introduced to suppress symptomatic ailments, which may potentially exert more stress on our systems. How do we cope, what would the practice be like to support our feminine growth and ageing gracefully? 

In this workshop, we will discuss and experientially explore various restorative yoga sequences specifically to support the stages of our inner Goddess. It is about time to receive restorative yoga into our lives, wherever we may be now, to explore the ageless application of this healing practice. Prioritize self care. Honor the sacred feminine.

Demystifying Savasana in London

Ever wonder why Savasana? Why does almost every yoga class ends with Savasana? What happens during Savasana? How can we be comfortable in it?  Savasana is one of the most widely practiced poses in every yoga class. In fact, while Savasana is the most difficult Asana; it is also the most rewarding. This is no mystery or secret. When approached appropriately, Savasana is a powerful tool to restore optimal health physiologically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually and consciously.

To practice Savasana - unplugging from our distractions, addictions, habits, stress - takes an act of courage. But this work is too important to take seriously, therefore we will approach it with humor and easy joy. Have fun in Savasana! This workshop offers both theory and experiential exploration of Savasana. Understand the physiology of relaxation, conditions that promotes or inhibits this process. Variations of the pose will be offered to meet varying individual needs.

The spring sun of Crete is calling you – leave the hectic of your daily life for a week and give your body, mind and soul the possibility to find its natural balance. 
Retreat The goal of this retreat is to help you unwind, detox, relax and nourish yourself on the physical, mental and emotional level. It will deepen your practice in yoga and meditation as well as help you integrate its principles into your daily lifestyle. 

The morning practice with Gabriela will include inspiring dharma talks, silent meditation, creative asana flow, bhakti bhav, music and chanting. In the afternoon classes with Lizzie we’ll focus on the radical pleasure of restorative yoga that Lizzie is famous for as well as on the correct alignment and anatomy of yoga poses. Generally, there will also be lots of fun elements including partner work and different forms of dynamic or Zen meditations. We will discuss yoga philosophy and its relevance in our lives. And of course there are the famous sunset meditations and chanting on the terrace ;-)

This retreat will leave you rejuvenated, deeply relaxed, clear in your purpose + radiating your inner strength  and joy which is greatest gift you can make to yourself, your friends, family and this one world we all share. 

Ort In the magical, wild landscape of the south coast of Crete lies "Triopetra" – the ‘’Three-rocks’’, a formation of  rocks, which gave the place its name. Away from the noise and busyness of city life lies Pavlos’ pension directly on the beach.  The practice hall is located above the rooms, all facing the sea. Delicious vegetarian and typically Cretan food comes mainly from the own gardens and is made with love in a sattvic atmoshphere by Pavlos and his family. Lizzie Lasater, MA, is a San Francisco-born yoga bohemian and jewelry designer.
