Sleeping well is the foundation for health and wellness. Yet so many of us find ourselves waking up in the morning without feeling rested. Scientifically, rest and sleep are different experiences for the brain. While we need both - rest is the key first step that prepares the brain to sleep more deeply.

In Restorative Yoga we learn the art of deep rest. By unplugging, turning off, and removing ourselves from the demands of the external world - we consciously turn inward. When we support the body to rest deeply, we allow the mind to release layers of accumulated stress. Restorative Yoga is a kind of magic - preparing the body to sleep more deeply.
