In this class we will explore the combination of movement and rest. Pairing moon salutations (the evening partner of sun salutations) with restorative poses, we spend the first half of the class exploring flow, and the second half discovering rest. Like paring wine with a meal - restorative poses compliment and magnify the benefits of our asana practice.
In restorative yoga we unlock the secret to going slow, paying attention, and sitting still. In the class you’ll experience straightforward techniques for introversion and stillness. Paradoxically, by giving yourself the gift of intense rest, you will discover more energy for family, work and creativity. I invite you to join me for this practice about deep rest — and leave the studio with renewed sense of peace.
This class is part of five class series, every Thursday in April. Suited for all levels.
